My name is Max Mathieu and I am a storyteller at heart. At the Parsons School of Design, I have written and illustrated my own graphic novels and directed and written my own short films while working with production companies such as People’s Television and Dirty Cowboy Productions. I write my stories in context of their awkward delivery to me as a child in context of mental health, age, gender, and advocacy. Right now, I am working on my thesis composed of three graphic novels and a short film, all narratively independent of one another but tied together thematically and visually. I am also also picking up work in both illustration and film in hopes to enter the respective industries! Thank you so much!
